If you missed last week’s Overland Farmers Market you really missed out.  Bob “Bumblebee” Kamoske‘s amazing unique blues guitar got people smiling and bouncing.  The OFM Staff put on another successful Kid’s weekend with a dozen games and activities.   Steve and Son gave us a great breakfast and lunch and of course we had some great produce, meat, snacks, jewelry, baked goods, artisan creations and much, much more.  We had a  great turn out with the parking lot full and lots of smiling faces around.

The Overland Farmers Market is a weekly community event every Saturday from May through October.   It’s not just a place to shop, hear great music and get a good breakfast or lunch.  It’s a place where residents, Council members, business people and visitors meet and talk at the picnic tables.  It’s also the perfect starting point for shopping the great stores in downtown Overland.

Don’t miss out next week.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, 7-26-2014 8am – 12:30pm!   Share a Saturday morning with us.  You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great day at the Market.  The weather was wonderful for most of the morning only turning hot as we got close to closing.   Junkarama had a great turn out with losts of interesting bargains.   We had some amazing produce, baked goods and artisan wares as always.   Remember the second week of every month May-Oct is Junkarama where you can get a spot for just $10.00 and sell your stuff or come down to shop or bargains from silverware to sofas.
